Beautiful Science

If you're in the area, the British Library's Beautiful Science exhibition is well worth dropping into - a small but perfectly formed collection of examples of scientific data visualisation from Florence Nightingale's diagrams of causes of troop mortality up to a hypnotic NASA animation showing surface currents across the world's oceans.

That sounds great! I'm not of course, so I'm not able to drop by, otherwise I would have. I have a museum membership though, so I'm sure I'll catch many other exhibitions in my own city this year:)
